The Utter Failure of the Medical Establishment to address the Obesity Mess
"Calls to Action" from public health officials and doctors have been a farce for the past 20 years - NOW THEY'VE JUST GIVEN UP
See? They’re not interested in ending obesity anymore. They’re interested in ending the stigma of obesity. OK, so they gave totally wrong-headed advice to fat people for more than 20-30 years, telling them to count calories, and now they suddenly realize, gosh, we’ve just been too tough on this exploding number of obese folks. So, the consensus today is to scold everyone for all the mean words and “stigma.” Got it.
Meanwhile, the problem continues to worsen badly, with diabetes, high blood pressure, and cancer skyrocketing (the poison COVID shot contributing, of course). The problem is just worse than ever.
43% of Americans are now obese. Hmmm. Well, fortunately, here’s a cute little “Call to Action” for doctors 20 years ago, claiming diet and exercise will fix everything. Of course, the obesity epidemic was a fraction then of what it is now. Oops. Guess it didn’t work. Was it supposed to?
So now, according to our "beloved” CDC below, there’s a similar epidemic of diabetes brewing, especially in young people. Could public health officials and doctors tackle this one? Probably not a good idea to hold your breath.
You get the idea. Modern medicine has been a disaster for the public, and it’s been designed that way. Why? Well, in case you’ve been under a rock for the past few decades, BIOPHARM has dramatically increased its influence over public health and medicine. Sure, that influence was always there. But now it’s next-level. There is no social or medical problem in existence that the BIOPHARM medical-industrial complex cannot find an expensive drug for. I’m not even talking about the genetic kill-shot and the whole COVID debacle. Who cares if patients don’t get cured? It’s more important to cash them out, and keep them from ever getting well.
Yes, yes, Rockefeller and the Flexner Report started the whole “pill medicine” approach 100 years ago, but it didn’t really kick into high gear until the1990s. People were still pretty thin in the 1970s-1980s. Look at movies from this era. Watch an old episode of The Love Boat. You'll be shocked. Not a fatty in the bunch. Thin people everywhere.
So what is the cause of the obesity epidemic? Is there really any way to improve the situation? There is, of course, and it may actually help you with different kinds of hunger. The plot thickens.
The source of the obesity and morbid obesity epidemic is this: HUNGER. Talk to a person who weighs 300 or 400 or 500 pounds, and I’ll show you a person who’s hungry. Hungry for food. Hungry for friends. Hungry for love. Hungry for forgiveness. Hungry for real culture. Hungry for God. Just plain hungry for everything. Yet beyond food, they can’t realize what else might be missing. You can’t convince them of it. They don’t get it. Their appetite blinds them to it. That’s the zinger. A fish doesn’t “get” water, however lousy that water may be.
For example, when you give meat to a dog, that dog is totally focused. If you interrupt the dog, he is going to bite you. So if you tell a 350 pound female to step away from a box of Twinkies, you’re going to get bitten. For so many reasons. Look, you can’t tell anyone they are F-A-T anymore. They will attack you with a wild-eyed vengeance, without really knowing why. They’re just hungry, and you’re between them and the dish.
Many Substackers, especially Celia Farber’s Truth Barrier, have helped many people realize that children who want “to transition” to another sex, usually MTF, are more than anything hungry for attention from their parents. The parents, of course, have their own hunger, so they put their oxygen masks on first, leaving their children gasping for air. The response? “Well, I’ll show you, Mommy. Your cute little boy is a girrrrl now, and my school approves, so look at meeee !!” Mommy quickly realizes she has a chance to satisfy her own hunger for attention here, so she approves of the “transition”, and virtue-signals it to all her girlfriends and besties. Daddy is left out, of course, and if he disapproves of the situation, prison awaits. Especially if he’s in Canada.
Time for a curveball. In many ways, obesity is trannyism. Men are supposed to be lean, muscular, deep-voiced and very interested in women. For millenia, they were exactly that. Today, many rolly-polly fat boys have little to no muscle, high-pitched gay voices, and are asexual or homosexual. Yes, that check-out cashier soyboy at the supermarket, that’s his real voice. Add in man-boobs from too much GMO soy (which is in everything) and the MTF transition is complete. As for girls, they cut their hair short, wear baggy jeans, tattoo up, pierce up, insert 5-year contraceptive pellets in their arms, and wear sandals and pajamas at Wal-mart. Then they wear a tie to work. Oh, and they resent men. FTM transition complete.
See, everything is being timed. The tranny phenomenon, despite feeling sudden, was actually years in the making. All the toxic food and water was designed to produce men as effeminate cashiers, and women as square-jawed ball-busters. And every one of them is really hungry. For something. Kinda like hermaphroditic frogs in the Potomac.
So always remember that food for modern people is medication. In other words, when people use food to self-medicate, they can be a tough nut to crack, so to speak. You’re not dealing with “calories in, calories out.” You’re dealing with an entire personality steeped in self-deception and ravenous hunger. As with any addiction, the drive is misplaced. The hunger is totally misplaced. Something is sorely lacking be it God, or forgiveness, or a strong loving father, or friendship. It’s just not there. But they don’t see it. Try to point it out to them, and they’ll hate your guts. Worse, they’ll call you the dreaded judgmental.
And yet, we still have an out. There is a way to lose weight naturally, without the goofy Ozempic or Wegovy or Mounjaro shots that often provoke nausea, vomiting, diarrhea while sleeping, constipation, paralysis of the stomach and intestines, pancreatic inflammation and cancer, thyroid cancer, and suicide, to boot.
The latest reports published in 2024 state that the suicidal problems have been “debunked” (their favorite word), and the weight-loss shots are again heralded as “safe and effective.” Where have I heard that before. Hmmm. Sounds like someone might be defending their profits vigorously.
But it really doesn’t matter much, after all. 2 out of 3 people quit taking Ozempic or Wegovy after one year anyway. Guess nothing is life is free. You can’t keep eating the same GMO fast-food toxic nuclear waste and expect some intestine-killing body shot to be sustainable in the long-term. Life doesn’t work that way. Your system doesn’t work that way. To wit:
Could it be they feel like they’re going to die? When the gut stops moving, that’s generally associated with death. But hey, anything to knock off the hunger, at least for a little while.
So what is the answer? Well, the first part of the answer is to stop eating modern food. Here’s why:

OK, great, so let’s just assume you’re now a definite foodie, and you eat only organic, non -GMO food. You refuse tap water, and drink only spring water, or at least filtered. You still can’t lose weight. What gives?
Easy. You’re STILL eating too much. You’re NOT spending enough time during the day not eating at all. It’s called intermittent fasting, and this is your key to weight loss. Fasting is something completely natural to the body. That’s why in the morning you eat break-fast. You break your sleeping fast.
So start out by eating breakfast later. (Actually 8 am is a time when you’re usually least hungry, which is interesting.) Breakfast has been heavily promoted by the breakfast cereal corporations, and is clearly NOT the most important meal of the day. That belongs to lunch. If you eat breakfast at 10 am, and decide not to eat after 8 pm, bang, you’ve just established a 10 hour eating window. The remaining 14 hours are fasting for you, and that includes 8 hours of sleep. Not so tough! You can then shorten your eating window to 8 hours, maybe 12 noon to 8 p.m. That would then give you a 16 hour fast. Great. Of course, you have to ease into it.
You may experience some constipation as your body adapts to longer periods of fasting. Pitted prunes can be a real help. And they’re tasty. But intermittent fasting is really the only natural way to lose weight. Give your body a break with decent daily fasting, and it will reward you. Sure, you can exercise, but most people don’t lose much weight exercising. Some do, to be sure, (I’m one of them), but most people will lose weight through intermittent fasting, not exercise. And you won’t go into starvation mode either. That’s a dumb myth. You’ll be lean and mean if you keep at it. It’s very important to say it will probably take a year or so to get the weight you want, because you’ve spent years eating all day, putting on the pounds, and never fasting intermittently. Get it? It’s the DIET industry that promises to shed 40 pounds in 5 months, and never delivers. But it remains a billion dollar industry because people still think instant gratification takes too long.
This notion of eating six meals a day is suicide. Constant provocation of insulin will instruct your body to store fat, which is precisely what you do NOT want it to do. So stop it with the six meals a day, already.
...
No discussion of intermittent fasting would be complete without kudos to the great innovator of intermittent fasting, Jason Fung, MD. He is straight-forward, easy to listen to, and he will take you where you need to go.
It’s crazy, but once you become accustomed to an intermittent fasting regimen in your life, your hunger will subside. What’s really interesting is that other areas of hunger in your life may also ease off. The “calorie model” has failed spectacularly. Forget it. Nobody counts calories anyway. Look, people can drink a 1000 calorie jumbo soda at a ballgame, without ever satisfying their hunger. In fact, the sugar load will fire up their appetite even more. That’s why waitresses push drinks and bread at the beginning of your restaurant dinner. They know you will eat more and spend more because the carbs and sugar will drive you to eat MORE. And you will tip more. They are way ahead of you.
All the evil elites of the food industry have also been way ahead of you, your entire life. They’ve been gaslighting you, your entire life. Just like mentally sharp “Joe Biden.” Sure, right. It’s time to seize back your food and water, and eat healthfully. And time for you to fast intermittently and finally lose weight in a natural way over time. Start with the Jason Fung, MD video, above.
All the best,
Tom
Intermittent fasting is good, but just eating less (and no American garbage processed food) should be enough. People just eat too much, and too much processed stuff.
In my experience, perhaps counter-intuitively, the worst of intermittent fasting are the initial two hours or so. After a while, your hunger just goes away and you kind of forget about it. Going from 14 h to 16 hours becomes easier.
